The Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure has proved that age doesn’t matter when it comes to staying physically fit. Though she is already 43, she looks nothing like that, thanks to her weight loss journey.

The mother of three who weighs around 51kg at the moment lost around 22 lbs after following a workout regimen and proper diet. Thanks to her dietary restrictions and the 80/20 rule, she is as fit as she was a decade before.

The 5 feet 2 inches tall actress Candace Cameron Bure revealed how she got back to shape. She talked about a series of exercises and dietary choices that made her transformation possible.

Candace Bure’ Workout Regimen

The actress works out under the guidance of her friend/fitness coach, Kira Stokes. Bure usually exercises for an hour at least five days a week. But, when she works out with Kira, the sessions can prolong upto two hours or more.

Candace has a five days workout regimen with two days rest per week. Her regimen starts with a cardio session on the first day. For her second, she usually has resistance training to build her overall strength. On the third day, she trains HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) that burns more calories than any other form of exercise.

Day four sees the return of resistance training while the week concludes with a combination of HIIT and resistance training. The 5th and 7th days of the week are termed as rest days. Here’s her workout regimen.

In an Instagram story, Bure revealed that every morning, she takes two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with a quarter teaspoon of honey and then a little bit of hot water.

On a photo posted on her Instagram on April 14, 2018, where she is standing with her then 18-year-old son, Lev Valerievich Bure, a fan by the IG handle, grettavontrappandspanky posted a rude comment that slammed her weight loss journey.

The comment read, “All that excersizing, and you still look like you weigh more than your husband, did you change your diet?” Clearly, the commenter mistook her son for her husband.

In reply to the body shamer, Candace replied, “If a 25 inch waist looks big to you… then you’re looking through an altered lens. Be well.”

Nothing could be more positive than this! Candace Cameron Bure’s weight loss journey is what many yearn to go through but cannot. For her weight loss, she feels that she is more fit at this age than she ever was in her life.

Weight loss is an emotional achievement for Bure and not just physical as she had problems related to Bulimia (an eating disorder) for some years.

As she married her husband and shifted to Montreal, she had no friends and family, and her partner also traveled often during the hockey game season.
